JS Kaga
JS Kaga is a helicopter carrier of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). Launched in 2015, it is named after the historical aircraft carrier Kaga, which served during World War II. The ship is designed to support various missions, including disaster relief, humanitarian assistance, and anti-submarine warfare.
The vessel can carry multiple helicopters, including the SH-60K and CH-47JA, and has a flight deck that allows for simultaneous takeoffs and landings. JS Kaga is part of Japan's efforts to enhance its maritime capabilities and strengthen regional security in collaboration with allies like the United States.
