Jāzeps Vītols
Jāzeps Vītols (1863–1948) was a prominent Latvian composer, conductor, and music educator. He is best known for his contributions to Latvian classical music and for promoting national identity through his works. Vītols studied in Germany and later became a significant figure in the Latvian National Opera.
