Jørgen Moe
Jørgen Moe was a notable Norwegian author and folklorist, born on April 22, 1813, in Bø in Telemark. He is best known for his contributions to Norwegian literature and his work in collecting and preserving traditional Norwegian folk tales. Alongside his friend Peter Christen Asbjørnsen, Moe published several collections of these stories, which have become integral to Norway's cultural heritage.
