Józef Mehoffer
Józef Mehoffer was a Polish painter and stained glass artist, born on March 21, 1869, in Kraków. He is best known for his contributions to the Art Nouveau movement, which emphasized decorative arts and intricate designs. Mehoffer studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and later in Paris, where he was influenced by various artistic styles.
Throughout his career, Mehoffer created numerous works, including paintings, murals, and stained glass windows. His notable projects include the stained glass in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Warsaw and the National Museum in Kraków. He passed away on July 8, 1946, leaving a significant legacy in Polish art.
