Iva Majoli
Iva Majoli is a retired Croatian professional tennis player, born on January 12, 1977, in Dubrovnik, Croatia. She turned professional in 1990 and achieved her highest singles ranking of world No. 4 in 1996. Majoli is best known for winning the French Open in 1997, which marked her as the first Croatian woman to win a Grand Slam title.
Throughout her career, Majoli won a total of 4 WTA singles titles and 1 doubles title. She represented Croatia in various international competitions, including the Fed Cup and the Olympics. After retiring from professional tennis, she has been involved in coaching and promoting the sport.
