Israeli Military
The Israeli Military, officially known as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), is the military organization of the State of Israel. Established in 1948, it consists of ground forces, air forces, and naval forces. The IDF is known for its mandatory military service, which requires most Israeli citizens to serve upon reaching adulthood, contributing to a highly trained and prepared military force.
The IDF's primary mission is to protect the sovereignty and security of Israel. It has been involved in various conflicts and operations since its inception, responding to threats from neighboring countries and non-state actors. The military also engages in humanitarian missions and disaster relief efforts both domestically and internationally.
