Israeli Broadcasting Authority
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority (IBA) was the national public broadcasting organization in Israel, responsible for radio and television services. Established in 1965, it aimed to provide diverse programming that reflected the country's culture and values. The IBA operated several channels and radio stations, offering news, entertainment, and educational content.
In 2017, the IBA was replaced by the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC), which took over its functions. The transition aimed to modernize public broadcasting in Israel and improve the quality of content while ensuring independence from government influence.
