Israeli Basketball League
The Israeli Basketball League, also known as the Winner League, is the top professional basketball league in Israel. Established in 1954, it features teams from various cities across the country, competing for the championship title each season. The league is known for its competitive nature and has produced several talented players who have gone on to play internationally.
The league consists of 12 teams that play a regular season followed by playoffs to determine the champion. The Maccabi Tel Aviv team is one of the most successful and recognized clubs in the league, having won numerous championships and gained a strong following both locally and internationally.
