Israel Basketball Association
The Israel Basketball Association (IBA) is the governing body for basketball in Israel. Established in 1954, it oversees the organization and promotion of basketball at all levels, including professional leagues, youth programs, and national teams. The IBA is responsible for the rules and regulations of the sport within the country and works to develop basketball talent.
The IBA manages the top professional league, known as the Israeli Basketball Premier League, which features several teams competing for the championship each season. Additionally, the association is involved in international competitions, representing Israel in events such as the FIBA Basketball World Cup and the EuroBasket tournament.
