Isla de Mouro Lighthouse
The Isla de Mouro Lighthouse is located on Isla de Mouro, a small island off the northern coast of Spain. It was built in 1857 to guide ships safely through the treacherous waters of the Bay of Santander. The lighthouse stands at a height of 22 meters and features a distinctive white tower with a red band.
The lighthouse is an important navigational aid for maritime traffic in the region. It is operated by the Spanish Maritime Safety Agency and emits a flashing light every 10 seconds, visible from several nautical miles away. The surrounding area is also known for its natural beauty and diverse marine life.
