Irrigation Methods
Irrigation methods are techniques used to supply water to crops and plants to enhance growth. Common methods include drip irrigation, where water is delivered directly to the roots through a system of tubes, and sprinkler irrigation, which mimics rainfall by spraying water over the plants.
Another method is surface irrigation, where water flows over the soil surface to reach the plants. Subsurface irrigation involves placing water delivery systems below the soil surface, allowing for efficient moisture management. Each method has its advantages and is chosen based on factors like crop type, soil conditions, and water availability.
