Irish Ladies Golf Union
The Irish Ladies Golf Union (ILGU) is the governing body for women's golf in Ireland. Established in 1893, it promotes the sport at all levels, from grassroots to elite competitions. The ILGU organizes national championships and oversees the development of female golfers across the country.
In addition to managing competitions, the ILGU works to increase participation in women's golf and supports clubs in providing opportunities for female players. The organization also collaborates with other bodies, such as Golf Ireland, to enhance the overall golfing experience for women in Ireland.
