Iranian Gazelle
The Iranian Gazelle, also known as the Persian Gazelle or Gazella subgutturosa, is a species of gazelle native to the arid regions of Iran and surrounding areas. This medium-sized antelope is characterized by its slender body, long legs, and distinctive curved horns in males. They typically inhabit grasslands, deserts, and scrublands, where they graze on grasses and shrubs.
These gazelles are well-adapted to their harsh environment, capable of surviving with minimal water. They are social animals, often found in small herds, and are known for their agility and speed, which help them evade predators such as wolves and leopards.
