Persian Gazelle
The Persian Gazelle, also known as the Gazella subgutturosa, is a medium-sized antelope native to the arid regions of Iran and surrounding areas. It is characterized by its slender body, long legs, and distinctive curved horns, which are present in males. These gazelles are well-adapted to their environment, often found in grasslands and deserts, where they graze on grasses and shrubs.
Persian Gazelles are social animals, typically living in small herds. They are known for their agility and speed, which help them evade predators such as wolves and leopards. Conservation efforts are in place to protect their habitat, as their populations have been threatened by habitat loss and hunting.
