Ioras
Ioras are small, colorful birds belonging to the family Acanthizidae. They are primarily found in the forests and woodlands of Australia and New Guinea. Known for their vibrant plumage, Ioras are often seen flitting through the trees, feeding on insects and fruits. Their distinctive calls and songs add to the lively atmosphere of their habitats.
These birds are typically around 10 to 15 centimeters in length and exhibit sexual dimorphism, with males and females displaying different colors. Ioras are also known for their acrobatic flying skills, which help them navigate through dense foliage while foraging for food.
