Involuntary Muscle
Involuntary muscles are types of muscles that work automatically without conscious control. These muscles are essential for many bodily functions, such as breathing and digestion. They are found in organs like the stomach, intestines, and blood vessels. Unlike voluntary muscles, which we can control, involuntary muscles operate on their own to keep our bodies functioning smoothly.
There are two main types of involuntary muscles: smooth muscle and cardiac muscle. Smooth muscle is found in the walls of hollow organs, helping them contract and move substances through the body. Cardiac muscle, on the other hand, is specific to the heart and is responsible for pumping blood throughout the body.
