International Theological Commission
The International Theological Commission (ITC) is a body established by the Vatican to assist the Pope and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in theological research and reflection. Formed in 1969, the ITC aims to promote a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith and address contemporary theological issues.
Composed of theologians from various countries, the ITC engages in discussions and produces documents that explore important topics within the context of Catholicism. Its work helps to clarify doctrines and provides guidance for the Church in responding to modern challenges while remaining faithful to its teachings.
