Intelligence Bureau
The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is India's premier intelligence agency, responsible for internal security and intelligence gathering. Established in 1887, it operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs and plays a crucial role in counter-terrorism, counter-intelligence, and maintaining national security. The IB collects information related to threats against the state and provides assessments to the government.
The agency works closely with other security organizations, including the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the National Security Guard (NSG). Its personnel are trained to analyze data and conduct surveillance to prevent potential threats, ensuring the safety of the nation and its citizens.
