Innes Lighthouse
Innes Lighthouse is located on the Innes National Park in South Australia. Built in 1860, it stands 37 meters tall and is made of local limestone. The lighthouse was constructed to guide ships safely through the treacherous waters of the Gulf St Vincent.
The lighthouse features a distinctive white tower with a black lantern. It was automated in 1973, which means it no longer requires a keeper. Today, Innes Lighthouse is a popular tourist attraction, offering stunning views of the coastline and opportunities for photography and exploration in the surrounding park.
