Ingeborg of Norway
Ingeborg of Norway was a Norwegian princess born around 1280, the daughter of King Eric II of Norway and Princess Agnes of Sweden. She became notable for her marriage to Duke Valdemar of Sweden, which was part of a political alliance between Norway and Sweden during a time of regional conflict.
Ingeborg's life was marked by her efforts to strengthen ties between the two kingdoms. After her husband's death, she returned to Norway, where she played a role in the royal court. Ingeborg passed away in 1357, leaving a legacy of diplomacy and familial connections between Norway and Sweden.
