Ingeborg of Denmark
Ingeborg of Denmark was a Danish princess born in 1287, the daughter of King Eric VI of Denmark and Agnes of Brandenburg. She became notable for her marriage to Philip IV of France, which was part of a political alliance between Denmark and France. However, the marriage was annulled in 1305, leading to significant political tensions.
After her annulment, Ingeborg lived in Denmark and later became a nun. She was known for her piety and dedication to religious life. Ingeborg passed away in 1350, leaving a legacy tied to both Danish and French royal history.
