Indian Laburnum
The Indian Laburnum, scientifically known as *Cassia fistula*, is a flowering tree native to the Indian subcontinent. It is recognized for its striking yellow flowers that bloom in long, cascading clusters, typically during the summer months. The tree can grow up to 10-20 meters tall and is often found in gardens and along roadsides.
This tree is also known as Golden Shower Tree due to its vibrant blossoms. The flowers are not only beautiful but also attract various pollinators, including bees and butterflies. Additionally, the Indian Laburnum produces long, cylindrical pods that contain seeds, which are sometimes used in traditional medicine.
