The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) are a group of premier institutions in India dedicated to scientific research and education. Established by the Government of India, these institutes aim to promote advanced studies in science and foster research in various scientific fields. There are currently seven IISERs located in different parts of the country. IISERs offer integrated undergraduate and postgraduate programs, emphasizing a research-oriented approach. They provide students with opportunities to engage in cutting-edge research alongside experienced faculty members. The institutes also collaborate with various national and international organizations to enhance scientific knowledge and innovation.
