Incisors
Incisors are the front teeth in humans and many other mammals. They are typically flat and sharp, designed for cutting food. Adults usually have eight incisors, four on the top and four on the bottom. These teeth play a crucial role in biting into food, making them essential for eating.
Each incisor has a single root and is classified into central and lateral incisors. The central incisors are the two middle teeth, while the lateral incisors are located next to them. Proper care of incisors is important for overall dental health, as they can be prone to cavities and wear.
