Imperial Fabergé eggs
Imperial Fabergé eggs are exquisite, jeweled eggs created by the Russian jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé for the Russian royal family. Commissioned by Tsar Alexander III in 1885, these eggs were designed as luxurious Easter gifts for the empress. Each egg features intricate craftsmanship, often incorporating precious metals, gemstones, and unique surprises hidden inside.
A total of 50 Imperial Fabergé eggs were made, with only 43 surviving today. They are celebrated for their artistic beauty and historical significance, representing the opulence of the Romanov dynasty. Today, these eggs are highly sought after by collectors and are displayed in museums around the world.
