Imbabura Volcano
Imbabura Volcano is an active stratovolcano located in the northern part of Ecuador. It rises to an elevation of 4,609 meters (15,400 feet) and is part of the Andes mountain range. The volcano is known for its symmetrical cone shape and is surrounded by beautiful lakes, including Lake San Pablo.
The last significant eruption of Imbabura occurred in 1868, but it has shown signs of activity since then.
