Imagination Library
The Imagination Library is a book gifting program founded by Dolly Parton in 1995. It aims to promote early childhood literacy by providing free, high-quality books to children from birth until they turn five years old. Each month, enrolled children receive a new, age-appropriate book delivered to their home.
The program is available in many communities across the United States and other countries. Local organizations often partner with the Imagination Library to facilitate enrollment and distribution. By fostering a love for reading, the initiative helps prepare children for success in school and beyond.
