Igraine
Igraine is a character from Arthurian legend, often depicted as the mother of King Arthur. She is typically portrayed as a noblewoman of great beauty and virtue, married to Uther Pendragon, who is Arthur's father. Her story often involves themes of love, betrayal, and destiny.
In many versions of the legend, Igraine is initially married to Gorlois, the Duke of Cornwall. After Uther falls in love with her, he uses magic to disguise himself as Gorlois, leading to their union. This act ultimately results in the birth of Arthur, who would become one of the most famous kings in mythology.
