Idril
Idril is a character from J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, specifically featured in "The Silmarillion." She is an Elven princess of Gondolin, the daughter of Turgon and Elenwë. Known for her beauty and wisdom, Idril plays a crucial role in the history of Middle-earth, particularly in the events leading to the fall of Gondolin.
Idril is also the mother of Eärendil, a significant figure in Tolkien's works, as he becomes a bridge between Elves and Men. Her lineage is important, as it connects the Elves to the later stories in The Lord of the Rings and the broader mythology of Middle-earth.
