Eärendil
Eärendil is a character from J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, primarily featured in "The Silmarillion." He is a half-elven mariner, the son of Tuor and Idril, and is known for his voyages across the seas. Eärendil plays a crucial role in the history of Middle-earth, as he seeks to unite the Elves and Men against the dark lord Morgoth.
Eärendil is also famous for sailing to the Undying Lands, where he pleads for the help of the Valar. His actions lead to the downfall of Morgoth and the eventual establishment of the Second Age of Middle-earth. Eärendil is often depicted as a star, known as Evenstar, symbolizing hope and light.
