Ice Hockey Shootout
An ice hockey shootout is a tiebreaker used in ice hockey games when the score is tied at the end of regulation and overtime. Each team selects a set number of players to take turns attempting to score against the opposing team's goalie. The team with the most goals after the designated rounds wins the game.
During the shootout, players skate from center ice towards the goal and have a limited time to make a shot. The shootout adds excitement and drama, as it often determines the outcome of closely contested matches in leagues like the NHL.
