IPv4 Address Space
The IPv4 Address Space refers to the range of unique addresses used in the Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4). It consists of approximately 4.3 billion addresses, represented in a format of four decimal numbers separated by periods, such as 192.168.1.1. Each number can range from 0 to 255, allowing for a diverse set of addresses for devices connected to the internet.
Due to the rapid growth of the internet, the IPv4 Address Space has become increasingly limited, leading to the development of IPv6, which offers a vastly larger address space. This transition aims to accommodate the growing number of devices and users worldwide.
