INSAT Series
The INSAT Series is a group of multipurpose geostationary satellites developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). These satellites are primarily used for telecommunications, broadcasting, meteorology, and search and rescue operations. The first satellite in the series, INSAT-1A, was launched in 1982, marking a significant advancement in India's space capabilities.
