NavIC
NavIC, or Navigation with Indian Constellation, is a regional satellite navigation system developed by ISRO, the Indian Space Research Organisation. It provides accurate position information services to users in India and the surrounding region, covering an area of about 1,500 kilometers around the Indian mainland.
NavIC consists of a constellation of seven satellites that work together to provide real-time location data. It is designed to offer better accuracy than global systems like GPS, especially in urban and mountainous areas. NavIC is beneficial for various applications, including transportation, agriculture, and disaster management.
