INS Vikrant
INS Vikrant is India's first indigenous aircraft carrier, commissioned into the Indian Navy in September 2022. It is named after the original INS Vikrant, which served from 1961 to 1997. The new carrier has a displacement of around 40,000 tons and is designed to operate various aircraft, enhancing India's naval capabilities.
