INFLIBNET, or the Information and Library Network, is an initiative by the Government of India aimed at enhancing the quality of library services in higher education institutions. Established in 1991, it provides a range of services, including access to digital resources, library automation, and networking among libraries across the country. The primary goal of INFLIBNET is to promote resource sharing and improve the efficiency of libraries. It supports various projects, such as Shodhganga, which is a repository of theses and dissertations, and e-ShodhSindhu, which offers access to electronic journals and databases for research and academic purposes.
