IIMs
The Indian Institutes of Management, or IIMs, are a group of prestigious business schools in India that offer postgraduate management programs. Established in the 1960s, these institutions aim to develop skilled managers and leaders through rigorous academic training and practical experience. Each IIM is an autonomous institution, but they are linked through a common admission process known as the Common Admission Test (CAT).
IIMs are known for their high academic standards and competitive admission process, attracting students from diverse backgrounds. They offer various programs, including the flagship Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM), executive education, and doctoral programs. Graduates from IIMs often secure lucrative job offers and hold influential positions in various industries.
