IEDs
An IED, or Improvised Explosive Device, is a homemade bomb designed to cause harm or destruction. These devices can be made from various materials and are often used in conflicts or terrorist activities. IEDs can be triggered in different ways, such as remotely or by pressure, making them unpredictable and dangerous.
IEDs are commonly found in war zones and areas with ongoing violence. They pose significant risks to military personnel, civilians, and infrastructure. Efforts to detect and neutralize IEDs involve specialized training and technology, as their unpredictable nature makes them a serious threat in many situations.
