I. I. Rabi
I. I. Rabi was an American physicist born on July 29, 1898, in New York City. He is best known for his work in the field of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), which later became a crucial technique in both physics and medicine. Rabi was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1944 for his contributions to the development of this technology.
