Hypomania
Hypomania is a milder form of mania, often associated with bipolar disorder. It is characterized by an elevated mood, increased energy, and heightened activity levels. Individuals experiencing hypomania may feel unusually optimistic, talkative, and confident, often leading to impulsive decisions.
Unlike full-blown mania, hypomania does not typically cause significant impairment in daily functioning. However, it can still lead to challenges, such as difficulty concentrating or maintaining relationships. Recognizing hypomania is important for effective management and treatment of mood disorders.
