Huygens
Huygens refers to the Dutch mathematician and physicist Christiaan Huygens, who lived in the 17th century. He is best known for his work in optics and mechanics, particularly for formulating the wave theory of light. Huygens also invented the pendulum clock, which significantly improved timekeeping accuracy.
In addition to his contributions to physics, Huygens made advancements in astronomy. He discovered the largest moon of Saturn, named Titan, and studied the rings of Saturn. His work laid the foundation for future scientific discoveries and influenced many later scientists, including Isaac Newton.
