Hus
Hus refers to a significant figure in the history of Christianity, specifically in the context of the Reformation. Jan Hus was a Czech theologian and reformer who lived in the late 14th and early 15th centuries. He advocated for church reform and criticized practices such as the sale of indulgences. His ideas were influenced by the earlier work of John Wycliffe.
Hus's teachings emphasized the importance of the Bible and the need for a more personal relationship with God. He was eventually excommunicated and executed for heresy in 1415, becoming a martyr for the reform movement. His legacy influenced later reformers, including Martin Luther.
