The Hungarian-speaking population primarily resides in Hungary, where Hungarian is the official language. It is also spoken by communities in neighboring countries such as Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, and Ukraine, as well as by diaspora groups around the world. Globally, there are approximately 13 million native Hungarian speakers.
