Hungarian Football League
The Hungarian Football League, also known as Nemzeti Bajnokság I, is the top professional football league in Hungary. Established in 1901, it features a competitive format where teams compete for the championship title. The league consists of 12 teams that play each other in a round-robin format, with matches typically held from August to May.
The league is governed by the Hungarian Football Federation and has produced several successful clubs, including Ferencvárosi TC and MTK Budapest. The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion, while the bottom teams face relegation to the lower division.
