Hundred Days
The "Hundred Days" refers to a period in 1815 when Napoleon Bonaparte returned to power in France after escaping from exile on the island of Elba. This time frame lasted from March 20 to June 28, during which Napoleon sought to regain control of France and its territories. His return sparked a series of military campaigns known as the War of the Seventh Coalition.
The Hundred Days ended with Napoleon's defeat at the Battle of Waterloo on June 18, 1815. Following this loss, he was exiled again, this time to the remote island of Saint Helena, where he spent the remainder of his life.
