Human Fraternity
Human Fraternity refers to the idea that all people, regardless of their background, culture, or beliefs, are part of a single human family. This concept emphasizes mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation among individuals and communities. It encourages dialogue and collaboration to address global challenges, promoting peace and harmony.
The term gained prominence with the signing of the Document on Human Fraternity in 2019 by Pope Francis and Ahmed el-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar. This document calls for interfaith dialogue and solidarity, aiming to foster a culture of tolerance and acceptance among diverse groups worldwide.
