Huang Chao
Huang Chao was a Chinese rebel leader during the late Tang Dynasty, known for leading a significant uprising against the ruling government in the late 9th century. His rebellion, which began in 875 AD, was fueled by widespread discontent due to heavy taxation, corruption, and natural disasters. Huang Chao's forces captured several cities, including the important city of Guangzhou, and he declared himself emperor.
