Howland Island
Howland Island is a small, uninhabited island located in the central Pacific Ocean. It is part of the United States Minor Outlying Islands and is situated about 1,800 miles southwest of Honolulu, Hawaii. The island covers an area of approximately 1.5 square miles and is known for its flat terrain and sandy beaches.
