House Martin
The House Martin is a small migratory bird belonging to the swallow family, known scientifically as *Delichon urbicum*. It has a distinctive white underbelly, a dark blue-black back, and a forked tail. House Martins are often found in urban areas, where they build their nests under eaves and ledges of buildings using mud and saliva.
These birds are skilled fliers, primarily feeding on insects caught in flight. They are commonly seen swooping and gliding in the air, especially during the warmer months. House Martins migrate to warmer regions in the winter, typically traveling to Africa to escape the cold.
