Holy Cross Mountains
The Holy Cross Mountains are a mountain range located in southern Poland, part of the larger Carpathian Mountains. They are known for their picturesque landscapes, diverse flora and fauna, and numerous hiking trails. The highest peak in the range is Łysica, which stands at 612 meters (2,041 feet) above sea level.
This region is also home to the Holy Cross National Park, established to protect its natural beauty and biodiversity. The park features ancient forests, rocky outcrops, and several historical sites, including the Holy Cross Monastery, which attracts visitors interested in both nature and culture.
